Gate of the Setting Sun is a fairly easy Challenge Mode Gold run with a generous timer. This is a simple route with plenty of flexibility in pull size and pacing. For more information on all things Challenge Mode, head to our full Challenge Mode guide on Raider.IO.
Mogu'shan Palace is one of the most difficult Challenge Modes largely because of its dangerous trash and a very tight invisibility run with a stressful jump. This is a very standard route with a little flexibility in pacing, but tanks should be prepared for some scary pulls! For details on all things Challenge Mode, head to Raider.IO and read our full guide.
Scarlet Monastery is one of the hardest Challenge Mode dungeons; its tight timer, long invisibility run, and dangerous trash certainly make Gold feel rewarding! You will have some flexibility in your pulls and pacing in the Crusader's Chapel, but otherwise this is a fairly rigid route given the timer. For more tips, tricks, and details on Challenge Modes, come on over to Raider.IO and read the full guide.
Scholomance is a fairly kind dungeon on Challenge Mode, with the exception of the Butcher's Sanctum trash. The timer is fairly forgiving, and there is more than enough trash, so pace your pulls and plan your perfect route according to group comfort and comp. Check out our full Challenge Mode guide for more Challenge Mode info!
Shado-Pan is a moderately difficult Challenge Mode to complete on Gold, with a relatively tight timer and a scary invisibility run. There's very little flexibility in pull pacing in this dungeon, but some cheeky tricks make the objectives a little easier to complete, at least! Don't forget to prep for your upcoming Gold run by stopping off at our full Challenge Mode guide over on Raider.IO.
This is one of the hardest challenge mode dungeons based almost entirely on the difficulty of the trash (and a slightly less forgiving timer). If at all possible, you should plan to pull the Forward Assault Camp trash with Pa'valak and burn it with his bombs - prep all your defensives! For more info on Challenge Modes, check out our full Challenge Mode guide over at Raider.IO!
Stormstout can be a deceptively difficult Challenge Mode - while the bosses themselves are quite easy, the timer is very tight and some of the trash can be fairly dangerous. Healers, strap on your DPS set for this one! To find more information on preparing for and conquering Challenge Modes, head over to Raider.IO and read our full guide.
A pug specific route for people who don't have a steady team. The goal is to provide plenty of notes for some of the things that need to be articulated in order to be successful.
I recommend you take this map and it's pointers, and start off going slow in pugs if you are the tank.
Don't concentrate on timing, concentrate on finishing cleanly with clean pulls, clean kills, and no irresponsible deaths on your part.
Always start off a key before hand with a few notes about what is going to be important:
1. Interrupt Order for Party
2. Interrupt mob and spell priority: Which mobs are dangerous? (You should know) Which spells from those mobs ACTUALLY require kicks?
3. Inform of any LOS pulls ahead of time. (Share your MDT)
